For the fifth consecutive year, JGG had the distinct honour of welcoming guests to the heart of Janštejn Glassworks. Nearly 400 guests from around the world attended the two-day event, during which BROKIS and BROKISGLASS unveiled their latest products and collections for the year.
One of the highlights of the event was the new STARCLOUD collection by art director Lucie Koldova, which played a central role in the overall concept of the space, also designed by Lucie Koldova.
Another remarkable moment of Glassmakers’ Night was the official launch of the SPECTRA collection by Lucie Koldova. Originally introduced in 2024 as a concept, the collection has now become part of the established BROKIS portfolio.
Among the new collections presented in the historic glassworks was DOME by LCM Marin Design Studio, newly expanded with a pendant and table light.
Also introduced for 2024 was the CONVEX collection by designer Boris Klimek. Featuring BROKISGLASS as its defining material, the pendant and wall variants — which can also be mounted on the ceiling — brought a unique visual atmosphere to the presentation.
Looking ahead to the coming year, the COMET collection by designer and BROKISGLASS art director Simona Sbordone was also unveiled. COMET introduces a bold new expression to the diverse BROKIS portfolio. The collection is distinguished by its unique glass texture, created using a special technique in which silica sand is added to molten glass during the handblowing process. COMET marks the first lighting collection by Simona Sbordone for BROKIS.
In her new role, Simona Sbordone also introduced the SENZA FINE collection — a series of applied design objects combining the distinctive textures of BROKISGLASS with wood or concrete infused with upcycled glass shards and glass dust.
